What it is
The cMOF Evidence Base is a research tool for finding, comparing and verifying evidence about electrically conductive metal–organic frameworks (cMOFs). Every record points back to a published article through its DOI and to a page, section, figure or table inside that article, so that anything you find here can be checked against the version of record.
It is a finding aid, not a substitute for the literature. Values are shown with the sample, method, conditions and extraction quality that produced them, and the site deliberately refuses to rank materials by pooled numbers until property names, units and conditions have been harmonised. What it contains — and does not
Included
- Bibliographic metadata: title, authors, journal, year, volume, pages and DOI
- Structured facts: materials, formulas, samples, synthesis parameters, measurement methods, conditions, reported values and uncertainties
- Short paraphrased summaries of authors' stated interpretations, caveats and review arguments, written for this database
- Compact source locators such as “main text p. 5, Fig. 3d” or “SI p. 34, Table S4”
- Reviewed material-family and technique vocabularies that link papers to each other
Deliberately excluded
- Article PDFs, full text, abstracts and figures
- Verbatim quotations from any source
- Supplementary files, datasets or code belonging to the original authors
- The underlying working databases, extraction notes and audit tables
- Any user accounts, tracking or third-party scripts
The export that feeds this site is allow-listed field by field and scanned for forbidden content before every build. Its checksum and the checksums of its inputs are published on theMethods page, so a given release can be identified unambiguously.
How the records were produced
Records were extracted from the published articles into a fixed schema as part of academic research on conductive MOFs. Extraction was followed by quality control, source re-verification of contested fields, and reviewed harmonisation passes for material identities and technique names. The result is frozen as a dated release; the site never modifies data at runtime, and a correction requires a new export and build.
Extraction is imperfect. Each value carries an origin (text, table, figure estimate) and an estimate quality, and each claim carries a support assessment. Treat those fields as part of the data, and treat the original article as authoritative wherever the two disagree.

Any measurement, synthesis detail or interpretation you take from this site originates in a published article. Cite that article — every dossier links to its DOI — and consult the version of record before relying on a value. This site should not be cited as the source of a scientific result.
